#1: Set the agenda. Make it clear.

Breaks will be absolutely necessary to give the attendees a brain relaxer mid-day and allow them to be fully focused at all sessions.
#2: Have a Plan B.
I’m sure you have heard the saying “By failing to prepare, you prepare to fail”, and this absolutely rings true for corporate events. Whether it be entertainment, decorations, caterer, or anything else you may need to book in advance, it is never a bad idea to have a second option in place. Prepare yourself for a lot of changes, this is inevitable in the process of planning large-scale events. The more prepared you are for any last-minute changes that will take place, the more likely your event will be a hit.
#3: Find your why.
Achieving this can be difficult, however it is crucial to your success. A good way to do this is ask yourself the following questions recommended by Picatic Blog:
- Why are you holding a corporate event?
- Why do people want to attend this event?
- What do you want them to take away from this event and why?
Any decision you make in the event planning process always reflect back to your why and re-ask yourself the questions above. This will provide you and your team with the best guidance and will allow you all to stay focused on the matter at hand.
